Orchestra:
Some of you have noticed this on the orchestra website, some have not: in December, in addition to the Christmas program on Saturday, December 14, the orchestra (strings and brass only) are scheduled for morning services on Sunday, December 22. We have an anthem with the choir (that we are not using for the Christmas program) and will likely accompany congregational singing (some of the same songs that we will use on the Christmas program).
Since that is the last Sunday before Christmas, and I know many of you have family schedules that align with local school schedules and thus may be out of town for the holidays, please email me with your availability for that Sunday morning, December 22. We will have rehearsal the Wednesday evening preceding, and will also work on that one anthem during a Sunday afternoon rehearsal along with the Christmas program materials.
