Dave Bullock has been a mentor to me for the last 10 years. He took me under his wing when I was 20 years old and had my first job leading worship. Dave has agreed to come to Calvary for the weekend of April 13 & 14 (Ascension Sunday) and lead worship with me. I've asked him if he would meet with a band, our choir, and orchestra for a bit of a workshop, he agreed. I'd like to invite the choir, the orchestra and the band for that particular weekend to a special rehearsal at 10am on Saturday the 13th. This will be very profitable for us.
Here is Dave's Bio:
Dave was trained as a concert violinist in undergraduate education at Barrington College (RI) and studied with a member of the Boston Symphony. In 1976,Dave founded the dB Network Band, a group of worship leaders who have led music and worship at over 70 national conferences. In 1996, he was the choir chair for the Billy Graham crusade in Minneapolis and led the choir and orchestra for a week of meetings. Dave has studied with Donald Hustad at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Joseph Fuchs of The Julliard School, and Paul Christiansen of Concordia College.
...
Dave began work in church ministry in 1976 at Barrington Baptist Church in RI, and then in Minneapolis for 11 years atWooddale Church before coming to Elmbrook Church.
